11.01.05 - Location Las Vegas

Hello, it's me again!!!!!!

I'm checking in to give you the latest and the greatest about where we've been and where we're going.

We're setting up a screenwriting class with Robert Gosnell towards the end of November. If any of you would like to join us, email us back. There are 21 openings left. The cost is $175.00 for a 2-day course 8 hours a day. This will be a weekend course.

On Tuesday 10-25-05 we had an intimate gathering at the West Las Vegas Library Theater and privately screened the film. It was another great success. The theater was very nice and the people running it were great. Matthew Mancour, from the Nevada Film Office, was a special guest. He brought a Certificate of Congratulations from the Lt. Governor's office for our production Siren. Once again we had very positive comments from everyone, from the technical people looking at the film from their viewpoint, to friends who were impressed that it was really a movie...and a great one at that. Here's a quote from Matthew with Nevada Film Office "I got chills up my spine it was so good".

Thursday, 10-27-05 Misty and I left the office at noon and flew to Colorado Springs for another private screening at the Bug Theatre in Denver. All the 'techies' came again to see how the technical side was accomplished and how well it was done. The universal comment at the last Denver screening was that they got so engrossed in the story at our first Denver screening that they forgot to review the technical aspects. Both have now passed muster and gotten nothing but positive comments. They are amazed it looks like film and love how the sound came out. Chuck Bejarano picked up major praise from the Denver technical guys. We went from the airport directly to the Bug Theatre, showed the film and then chatted with everyone until midnight. Then we went to eat with Robert Gosnell to talk about our future collaborations until 2 am and then had to rush back to the airport to arrive by 4am. We napped for 30 minutes in the rental car (refer to "sleep when you die") and then checked in and flew back. Going without sleep for 36 hours allows you to sleep really well the next night! I even managed to nap for an hour while the sun was up.

Looking into the future, my two beautiful girls along with Misty, Paul, Gene and I will be going to New York for three private screenings.

On Friday, 11-11-05, we will be in Tarrytown at the Westchester Marriott at 11:00 pm. The Weisman Teen Tours group is having a reunion and fifty teenagers and their parents, from Sheena's Europe tour, will be viewing the film.

On Saturday, 11-12-05, we will be at the Iris and B Gerald Cantor Film Center NYU located at the NYU campus at 36 East Eighth Street, New York, NY 10003 at 7 pm. Friends and family from my hometown (Brooklyn) will be there to view Siren. We will gather at Ida Mae's restaurant located at 111 West 38th Street, New York, NY 10018 after the screening.

On Sunday, 11-13-05, we will be in Providence, Rhode Island, at the Columbus Theater for an 8 pm showing. John DiGiulio, Al Gomes and John Cafferty were involved at various levels of the music production for this movie and this screening is on their home turf.

As soon as we finalize the dates and times for screenings in Florida, Chicago, Minnesota, Texas and Los Angeles we will send out an e-mail giving details. Remember to check out the website, www.sirenthemovie.com to see the credits listed and additional photo galleries plus www.imdb.com (siren 2006) to look at the daily updates and photo galleries.

See you soon.
