Gary
Graham
Gary Graham's first major motion-picture role was in Paul Schrader's Hardcore, a turn that launched him into a chain of pictures, including roles in Hollywood Knights, in which he played a young man leaving his hometown for Vietnam; All The Right Moves; The Arrogant, opposite Sylvia Kristel; Robot Jox, in which he played the lead role of action-adventure hero Achilles; and The Last Warrior. Graham's many television credits include guest-starring roles on such notable genre series as Enterprise (in a recurring role as Vulcan Ambassador Soval), Sheena, Seven Days, Star Trek Voyager, M.A.N.T.I.S. (in a recurring role as Capt. Ken Hetrick) and the Incredible Hulk. Graham was born in Long Beach Califronia, and grew up in Orange County. While attending the University of California - Irvine, Graham studied both pre-med and drama. Now, after 25 years in the movie business, Gary Graham has compiled the book he wishes he'd had back when he got his first job in television. He covers in insightful detail: How to get a job in the first place. What to do on a professional film set. How to get the most mileage for your acting efforts. How to really build a career and lift your acting to the level of art. And along the way, Gary shares with you countless anecdotes, witticisms and flat-out wild stories of working in the film trenches with movie stars. He'll share with you how he almost got punched out by an inebriated George C. Scott. How Ed Harris nearly killed himself on a motorcycle right in front of him. And how he quite possibly saved Tom Cruise's life. Gary Graham's credits are too numerous to list here.
